The dark areas in this piece are perfectly placed and bring out all the little features. The simple background allows everyone to see Girl-Chan and Yusuke in all their glory. I'm sure egoraptor is very proud of this one :D. And in regards to my other comment, sorry, I didn't know you were a girl (EDIT: Go woman, go?) :/

Is that an original character?

If so, props to you. You've done an amazing job shading and the camera angle works a treat. The way everything hangs is perfect right down to the little stray strands of hair, you've made yourself quite a masterpiece, it would seem :D
If there's one thing I find annoying, it's the way his eyes seem about .0001 of a millimetre too close together. But let's face it, that's just stupid so 10/10 and 5/5 go man, go!

Yes he is. I haven't given him a name yet, and this is not even his finished design. And you know... his eyes is what bugged me in this whole picture. And no matter what i did i could not make them look right, and now that i think about it, they might be a little too close ._.;
